Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues during configuration:

  • Ensure your Mikrotik device is running a supported RouterOS version (6.x or later)
  • Check that all physical connections are secure
  • Try importing with verbose option: /import file=filename.rsc verbose=yes
  • If problems persist, use the Remote Configuration option for expert assistance

After successful configuration:

  1. Test the hotspot by connecting a device to your WiFi network
  2. Verify the login page appears correctly
  3. Create test users and confirm they can authenticate properly
  4. Monitor connection statistics from your dashboard
